When reducing extra hood tissue, the amount removed is planned with sensation and protective function in mind. This is not described as surgery that reduces the clitoris itself.

The clitoral hood is a fold of skin around the clitoris. Shape varies, and we do not decide that surgery is needed based only on how covered it looks. We look at where the discomfort is and why, then discuss whether the hood tissue needs to be adjusted.

You will receive guidance on how to clean the wound, how to use prescribed medicines, and your next visit. Exercise and sexual activity are resumed after recovery is confirmed.
Changes during recovery and the limits of surgery
Your schedule needs some flexibility
Swelling and pain ease at different rates. We cannot promise full recovery by a specific date, or that no scar will remain.
Risks that should be explained to you
Bleeding, infection, scarring, changes in sensation, or pain may occur. Ask also about cases where discomfort remains or further treatment is needed.
