Gynecology
For discharge, itching, or burning that is different from usual, we identify the cause and choose treatment.
For a vaginitis consultation in Sasang, Busan, please describe changes in discharge or itching and medicines you have used previously.

If the vagina and surrounding area itch or sting and discharge has changed, infection as well as skin irritation and hormonal change should be considered. The cause is not determined by color or odor alone; history and needed tests guide the treatment direction.
You can hear an explanation during your visit, review what you need to know, and then decide.
Please tell us about changes in discharge, and where and when pain or itching started.
We ask how symptoms relate to menstruation and intercourse, about any new cleanser or medicine, and about the possibility of pregnancy.
If you have used vaginal tablets, ointment, or oral medication, please tell us the names, how long you used them, and how your symptoms changed afterward.

Depending on your symptoms, we examine the vulva, vagina, and discharge. The exam method will be explained, and you may ask to stop if you are uncomfortable.

We distinguish fungal, bacterial, and other causes from non-infectious issues, then choose medication or care. Repeating the same medicine is not always the answer.

If symptoms remain or change in character, seek care again. Guidance on sexual activity during treatment and whether a partner needs to be seen depends on the cause.
Washing inside the vagina or using strongly scented products can cause irritation. If fever or lower abdominal pain is also present, seek care promptly.
Not all vaginitis is a sexually transmitted infection. Causes vary, so please have this explained based on your test and examination results.
Please bring together previous diagnoses, medicines you used, and when symptoms returned. We will check again whether this is the same infection or a different skin or mucosal problem.
Color and odor alone cannot reliably establish the cause. Skin irritation or hormonal changes may be involved as well as infection, so treatment is based on symptoms, examination and any necessary test results.
Please tell us what is bothering you and your previous examination and treatment history. Together we will confirm the care you need.
