When and in what situation the exposure occurred
We discuss the timing of your last sexual contact, the sites of contact, and whether a condom was used. If something is hard to say, please tell us separately during the visit.

Gynecology
We choose tests suited to the timing of exposure and your situation, and also confirm the plan after results.

Sexually transmitted infections may not have clear symptoms. Needed tests and specimens vary with the timing and type of sexual contact, symptoms, and previous tests, so the same bundled tests are not applied to everyone.
At Lileap, consultations for sexually transmitted infections take place in a private setting with consideration for your privacy. Please feel comfortable sharing concerns that may be difficult to talk about.
We discuss the timing of your last sexual contact, the sites of contact, and whether a condom was used. If something is hard to say, please tell us separately during the visit.
Please tell us about discharge, pain, skin lesions, any past positive results, and previous treatment.
We review pregnancy possibility and plans, along with your partner's symptoms and test results, to decide the care you need.
Specimens are chosen to match the infection being looked for and the sites of contact. One specimen or one test does not check for every infection.
Some infections take time to become detectable after exposure. Even a negative result may require retesting depending on when the test was done.
You will receive an explanation of which items were tested and what they mean. Results alone cannot determine the exact time of infection or which partner it came from.
Depending on the infection, you will be advised whether treatment and partner testing are needed, and how long to avoid sexual activity.
We decide whether testing is needed to confirm treatment or check for reinfection, and discuss prevention such as vaccination and condoms.
Results should be interpreted within the tests performed and the sites and time window covered. If symptoms persist or there is new exposure, please consult again.
Please tell us what is bothering you and your previous examination and treatment history. Together we will confirm the care you need.
This is general medical information. Individual care plans and what is offered at the clinic are confirmed during consultation.
