Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder and is often related to bacterial infection. Frequent urination, urgency, and pain on urination can occur, but other causes can produce similar symptoms. Treatment is decided based on symptoms and any urine tests needed.

Keeping a record of when it started, test results, and medicines used can help review the pattern of recurrence.
