Gynecology
If pain disrupts daily life, we assess both its intensity and its cause.

Pain can occur as the uterus contracts during menstruation. However, if pain steadily worsens or occurs outside of periods as well, other causes such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, or inflammation should be evaluated.
You can hear an explanation during your visit, review what you need to know, and then decide.
If pain suddenly becomes severe or other symptoms appear with it, do not dismiss it as usual menstrual pain. Seek prompt evaluation.
Please tell us whether it is worse before, during, or after your period, and whether it is severe enough that you need time off work or school.
Heavy bleeding, pain with intercourse, pain with urination or bowel movements, and bleeding between periods are also reviewed.
Please tell us the name of any pain medication, when you take it, how well it works, and any side effects. Previous ultrasound or treatment records are also helpful.
We discuss comfortable care such as warmth and appropriate pain relief. Medication is chosen after reviewing your medical history, allergies, and other medicines you take.
We look for the cause with ultrasound and other tests as needed, and consider hormone-related treatment or treatment of the underlying condition.
A single test cannot rule out every cause. If pain continues, we discuss further evaluation based on your symptoms and response to treatment.
Please tell us what is bothering you and your previous examination and treatment history. Together we will confirm the care you need.
This is general medical information. Individual care plans and what is offered at the clinic are confirmed during consultation.
